The first lesson is deliberately dull

Quiet roads, no manoeuvres, no commentary. The point is to find out what you can already do, which is usually more than you told us on the phone.

What most people actually need

‍

Three things come up again and again: motorways, multi-storey car parks and roundabouts with more than two lanes. Between five and eight hours covers all three for most people. Some need two.

Cars have changed

‍

If you last drove in 2009, expect to spend a lesson on things that did not exist then. Stop-start, lane assist, reversing cameras and the fact that handbrakes are frequently a button now. None of it is difficult, all of it is disconcerting the first time.

No minimum, no packages

‍

Refresher lessons are £42 an hour and you can stop whenever you feel ready. We will tell you when we think you no longer need us, which is usually before you would have said so yourself.
