Teaching in Fairvale since 2008
Eleven instructors, one standard
Greenlight started with one car and one instructor in Fairvale. Eighteen years on there are eleven of us, and we still teach the way we did then: one instructor per pupil, told honestly where they are up to.

Your instructor
The same person from lesson one to your test
Rosa Delgado has taught in Fairvale for twelve years and takes most of our nervous beginners. Marcus Ayodele runs the intensive courses and the Pass Plus work. Between them and the nine other instructors on the team, someone will suit you — and once you are matched, you stay with them.

Areas covered
Where we teach, and where you will be tested
Pick-up is free anywhere in these six areas. Most pupils take their test at the Fairvale centre.
Fairvale
Home ground, and the test centre most of our pupils use. We know every route out of it, including the one with the four-way box junction.
Ashbury
A mix of estates and long A-road stretches, so beginners and near-test pupils both get what they need without a long drive.
Kestrel Park
New-build estates with a lot of mini-roundabouts and parked cars. Awkward to learn on, which is exactly why we start people there.
Milbrook
Hills, narrow lanes and a steep hill start that catches people out on test day. Worth the drive over.
Sawley
Village roads, blind bends and horses. Where we take pupils for rural observation before their test.
Holt End
Closest to the dual carriageway, so this is where Pass Plus and motorway lessons usually start and finish.
